hello! it's been ages... ok da guihapon ako. very busy gayod. my hands are full. monday to friday as clinical instructor (OR) 6-2 shft; saturdays for my masteral ( still doing my thesis writing), sundays my only free day for mike and miko usahay mahisingit some quiet time for myself... tidying-up the closet, rearranging furnitures, and some pleasure readingas promise to evrybody... posted some of the pics taken during uncle toks ( as we fondly called him ... me. manang alice, tats and 'te kt) 5oth b-day. as usual we had a blast!!! just imagine evry get-together that we alwys had before. never to forget the kaagi nan tanan in-magi nan strictness ni lola titing, to the flores de mayo, fiestas, pump-boat trip to kamagong, uncles thols college days, basketball days, barkada days; especially with the team VIBES wherein me and tats an ila muse na dada pa nan beberon laong pa ni 'nong dodong yu; procession with lola doni's caro during good fridays, up to the bloopers of uncle balod and larry during the wakes of lolo landos, nanay abe, lolo fidel and very recently lola deling ( may they rest in peace). Basta kay mabibohi kami! Pur-ak an katawa!! labi na adto si auntie fe (from portillo-bali side), auntie 'velyn and lola vick.
for the record, uncle thols didn't have any alcohol that night. kape da an iya hastan mineral water! para kuno kadungangan pa an iya 50 years nan another years!!!
RPL came but left early because of rounds of golf game with so so so congressman the next day. ga-binoray-boray na isab c RPL, when he noticed that our family is slowly invaded by chinese. he he he... siya kuno an ga-una, then ako ... kuman si manang alice ( his BF is chinese meztiso from zamboanga), reb's also ( businessman, 75% chinoy). Irony of it all, it was the day before chinese new year... KUNG HEI FAT CHOI!
the next day, saturday, some of the guests went to calatagan to blue coral vacation house of rpl . lolo acoy went with them. it was auntie madre's fisrt visit as well as auntie 'velyn and uncle benson's. for the rest of the group hasta kapila na maka=kadto. ga-harvest sila nan indian mangoes ngadto, basta kay kupa-kupa an mga baba kinaonay nan mangga. the celebration went all the way til saturday night. mama nd papa barely slept, their flight back to surigao was early sunday morning
