It's Riena's Birthday - 1st of July

She deserves the title "Miss Achiever" for at her age she succeeded finishing her second degree in BSN and passed the board exam in same. Recently she triumphed once again over her greatest hurdle-- passing the NCLEX. Not only that but she is also a woman bestowed with multitudes of talents and attributes. Declaimer/orator, intelligent and charismatic, someone gifted with kutis porcelana, affable personality, modish, good handwriting and, inarguably the best and graceful dancer during our time. Her name suggests she is a “Queen” which she is indeed a queen of achievements. On this day being her birthday, not only would I greet this former classmate of mine, but most specially I would like to thank her for posing such a very inspirational figure especially to the young generation. Her achievements really proved that at any stage in life one can still accomplish things if he/she wants to.

I treasured the friendship as we were once good neighbors in project 6 in Q.C. And a good neighbor is not only someone who lives near us or works next to us, but anyone we meet on life's journey - especially in times in need.

This birthday was the most extended birthday celebration that I ever had. I had my pre-birthday celebration last June 30 here and actually my birthdate July 1st backhome in the Philippines. Janet Patrimonio Blake made the first treat at Todai - a high end Japanese buffet restaurant somewhere in Manhattan after we invaded and toured New York business center. Thank you Janet for the unlimited food and for keeping company. I thank you for your kindness and for the generous effort in taking us pictures. I saw genuine joy as you took us pictures and would like to congratulate you for keeping your feet in the ground.I am proud that you have invaded one of the most prestigious Auditing firm of US of A and yet remained humble and kind. Thanks a bunch from me and from Tata's (Sibuling) family.

On my very day, my birthday, Mana Farm and family sponsored another birthday lunch. This time, we went to chinese restaurant and the food was great and delicious. Mana Farm thank you very much for the time so as with kuya Chito. I knew you were very busy but you tried to sneak in just in time for my birthday lunch. You made my birthday an intimate one and memorable bonding with your family and Sibs family. Your beautiful girls are just naturally charming and kind. We surely enjoyed your company and you made my birthday a memorable date to look back.Thank you for your time, in a timely fashion. I learned a lot from you about time management and I thank you.

I didn't have any inkling that another good family would give me another birthday party and it was Abbs' beautiful family. I really did slice a birthday cake and blow birthday candles. We were scheduled to drop by their mansion but I didn't have any idea that Abbs had mysterious ways in greeting me. Thank you very much abbs for the surprise. You tricked me of not displaying the birthday cake while we ate the sumptous food that you generously prepared. Now, I know that you secretly planned with your hubby and your smart kids of the strategy. I feel so delighted for your syncronized effort, thank you. We were glad that we had visited your beautiful place and we feel honored. Kabuotani nan imo bana knowing that he comes from a rich family. Congratulations for having a wonderful husband and a good family. Thank you so much that we have met in flesh, finally.

Uno baya friends gani friends forever gayod. OO agaw looking back down our memory lane, yes we were once neighbours in Proj. 6. But I believe it proved ephemeral for you then transferred to Cebu. Didn't you? But hang on, you came back to Manila again in Proj 6 after your graduation but this time in Mana Neng's residence. Am I right? This is where we made a mark. Remember the impromptu party we had in Mana Neng's residence? It was a spur of the moment event but you graciously managed, that's your trademark. That was a very momentous event gayod for me Day.
