so sorry i can't divulge religiosa's role because i want to imbue the story with some sense of suspense and mystery.
yes, i have the facts (at least 90%, that is) but honestly i don't know how the story will unfold, or if i can make it fly for all you readers out there. you see, i'm doing this basically to test myself, whether i can write an interesting tale out of a true incident.
what i can promise you is that jovanie's lifestory is poignant, one that deserves to be written. here's hoping i can capture in print the story's essence.
i originally thought of posting jovanie's picture before the story began, as some sort of a teaser. in fact i've texted at-at a million times for it. but now, i decided NOT TO POST IT, that way, the suspense of the story is better served.

how perceptive! now i regret having divulged religiosa's relationship with jovanie early in the story. that would have whetted more the curiosity of the reader, like maruya herself had asked. maybe i will revise it when the story goes to press? wahahahaha gadahum.
i'll let you in on something: i might introduce a fictional character somewhere to do.......................you know? go figure, again!
yes, "religiosa orillaneda" is her real name. kila mo ini siya kay one year ahead da kamo sa ila sa Purisima. and now it's easy to connect her to totong, and then to jovanie......eng, eng, eng.
