istangko literally means to delay deliberately the use of something, especially food. the operative word there is "deliberately".
as for "awe" (stress on the second syllable and pronounced as if it has an "h" after "e"), it has two meanings:
1. AWI (note the "I") as a noun refers to Bebot Montero's paternal grandmother.
2. AWE as a verb is to request somebody to come to your side or live with you.

as opposed to a full, regular meal, "timoh" is archaic tagon-on term for quick chow, no, not the sister-resto of jollibee.
