Salamat Abbs, fiesta galore gayod abbs - multi sectorial an celebration ni Papa. May Pidong ( a local religious group kun sa ato pa kulto kuno), and Roman Catholic believers greeted papa same. Ngahin pa walks of life, but the less fortunates was the very joy of the celebration. We didn't loss the essence of the celebrations to give thanks and the poor ones were the most appreciative ones of whatever laid on the table. Maka inom iton mga taga ilayahi nan coke big celebration na.

Pagamingawi sa ako na gatan-aw nan mga pictures nganhi. Mixed emotions of joy and sadness hit me. It was a very momentous event for him while you and Sibs were miles away from him. Amo sa lagi ini pag halayo na kita sa ato mga ginikanan. Seldom people reach your Papa's age but he managed notwithstanding his condition--similar to my mum's. Looking at him in his condition reminded me of all the struggles our parents had done for us. Yakaluha gayod ako Day, yadomdom ko dayon si Papa. Pagamingawi gayod ako. An feeling ko pa gayod kapaspasi modagan an panahon koman. Kon puede lang na adto da naa ako sa kilid ni Mama for her remaining days kagana garo pero dili sa puede kay ini na sa an ato kinabuhi. Libod lang kaw gud ngadto
Insom maglibod kaw lang sa ilaya bisan waray okasyon. Malipay gayod an mga tiguwang. Mag biko sa dayon yaon si Mama master na recipe niya yaon amoy dayon taraw iya ibana basta may bisita niya. Madayaw garo kun magkaiban kita muuli pero the possibility is very slim kay we have opposite seasons. During summer here, you have winter there, same also goes with school time.
Gatiyaho ako while typing this reply, I understand how you feel. We cannot ignore the fact that they worked hard for us. It is a pity to see them suffering from their illnesses. Papa is a stroke patient for many years already same with your mom. I was able to serve him as caregiver after my early retirement from Lbp and after my school from nursing. He got another CVA ( Cerebrovascular accident) due to essential hypertension, during my last days there before I left. I thought that was it. We prayed to Divine Mercy to restore his memory (he had temporary memory loss and unaware he was confined in the hospital). Ging-Ging was able to attend Papa's care during his hospitalization. Good enough the attending physician was able to bullseye right away in managing the ischimia. I did my best to be there all the time to monitor his blood pressure coz after 24 hrs it was a crucial situation if his memory was not yet restored. Alam mo na sa ato isa day nurse in a shift in a big wing.Balitaw, mingaw, si papa mo mingaw isab, alam ko you love him so dearly. I remember you used to tell us that he used to give money kun makainom dali da lambingan.
The original structure of our house is basically the same and the frame of the house. I "we-do" the architectural design with the help of some magazines. Thanks for the compliment but there are still a lot to be fixed, short of budget and some noticeable imperfections. I pacify myself in finding beauty in any imperfection. This project is still a work-in-progress, later when finances would guarantee, we'll have it done according to our dream-plan. Our vission and mission why we we have this restored and improved; I would say, our ancestral house, simply because we are a big family and we love partying, we love to welcome and entertain visitors esspecially during fiestas: we usually have huge number of visitors, regardless of their status in the society, we treat them fairly alike. We too always look forward for family reunions. It is our parents' dream to continue the close family ties for future generations. Accordingly, it is always nice to be back home. The three of us
Insom, anay mag kakita da garu kita amo, the three of us here, we used to call each other every now and then. Judstump is always inviting me to go to WA. pero kamahali pamasahi pasingod ngadto kibali isab ako min-uli sa Pilipinas, maybe next time if I can already afford. I would really love to go,why not. Good friends are always nice to be with.
