Cries about the commercialization of Christmas go back many generations. There has been great concern expressed about the loss of the true meaning of the season.
Despite these concerns, amidst all the activity and the stress, the true blessedness of the season continues to emerge as bright as all the twinkling lights we see around us.
The wonderful news of the season is that God has taken a great initiative: He has entered human history; He so loves humanity that He sent His Son to be one just like us. No matter who we are or what our faith or status, when we receive this great gift, our lives and our world are transformed.
