Willy surprised Susie with a big birthday bash yesterday. Exclusive to Susie's
closest friends, the party was an exercise in self control because of the sumptuous
food, with sweet chillied crabs in thick sauce as piece de resistance.
It was a sort of a double celebration because Seagull Paul celebrated his birthday on January 25.
We connived with Willie in buttonholing Susie so she wouldn't know the preparation he
and the Goldbar crew were doing behind her back. Laiden, though nursing a fever, played
her role in the charade to the hilt by holding Susie at her clinic 'til it was party time.

Japan texted me early that afternoon that calltime was 5:30pm. I texted back that i wasn't sure because i was feeling feverish. I took a paracetamol hoping that the feeling would go away. But at 6:00pm, my temperature was still at fever pitch, so i decided to stay at home and watched AI instead.
