CAGPANGI'S VILLA AZARCON!
Our church had a fellowship last Sunday, 30 September 2007, at Villa Azarcon in Cagpangi,
Tago, Surigao del Sur. And below are images recorded by my camera as we trod our way to the falls.
the entrance
benjo and bugsy at the reception area where children paid P5 and adults, 15!
the swing
arch of triumph?
the function room---este---karaoke bar!
vintage caromata for some rural effect.
sleeping cottage with a catchy name.
here's another one.

i so love this!
to go to the gaming area--billiards, darts, and yes,
fishing!----you have to cross this hanging bridge
that's not for the faint of heart.
from here you can already hear the cascades of water.

bugsy at the kiddie pool.
'bird's eye view' of the stone vignettes that make it
possible for one to eat while wading his feet on water.

cagpangi falls from a distance!
(note: this is different from the falls shown on the main page. but both falls are in cagpangi. i like better the other
falls because it's wider and more visually arresting!)

and now, i save the best 'til last for----------ABB!
guess who i saw, of all people, at, of all places, cagpangi falls? okay, here she is,
shrouded like an ephemeral apparition because she didn't want her picture taken.
i felt so dirty being an amateur paparazzi! my fault, actually, for pleading. mea culpa!
then i told myself: never will this happen again!
abb, i give you three guesses!

sugz,
atty. azarcon was there, watering his orchids and bromeliads.
i'm sorry to say this but the place shows signs of wear and tear. i even doubt if the sleeping quarters are still "livable." the upkeep must be financially hard on tonyboy as there are not much weekend tourists who patronize the place. he earns nothing but entrance fees, which are not much to begin with.
i believe that what the place needs is right positioning, given its sprawling nature. if i were its owner, i would position it as adventure destination where children can do camping and pitch tents. and maybe, during summer, i can organize short courses on survival tricks and other activities like acting and painting workshops because the place's conducive to these kinds of activities. and because of its terrain, its is also ideal for rapelling, or if not, i will construct a false wall where kids can do rock climbing like they do now in malls.
falls as attraction is not enough. in short, what tonyboy needs is gimick that will incorporate a lot of fun. then maybe they'll come. or maybe not. wahahaha

K-Spy,
Hahaha… this isn’t fair. I can’t even begin to guess.
Is this who I think it is?
Think it’s safer if I look down and say “high light†or is it “high look†havaianas???
C’mon you’re too generous to trifle with me. WHO IS SHE?????????
