The DAVISOL

The DAVISOL (short for Divine Arc Victory Instituted in Sion Omnipotent in this Later Days of Christ) Christi community in Barangay Manyayay some 11 kilometers north of Lianga, Surigao Del Sur is populated by members of a religious foundation headed by Godofredo Retuerto who styles himself nowadays as Pater Fred. The community is well known for striking stone contour landscaping and its woodcraft and furniture products especially those made out Magkono or Philippine ironwood which is indigenous to the area.
