Deal OR no Deal in the Philippines

I watched on TV the popular TV game show hosted by Howie & co hosted by Kris A. being held in Manila. It was fun to see the contestants enjoying the experience not just the game but hopefully the hospitality of the country as well. The audience antics, the models with their dancing and the "balot" tasting plus Howie's little side trips in getting to know the culture,all funny. I just wish the contestants were locals so that they can really win the big bucks. What's up with that?
