A total of 5,758 applicants took the exam at the De La Salle University on September 4, 11, 18 and 25 last year. They were tested in the following topics: political law and international law, labor law and social legislation, civil law, taxation, mercantile law, criminal law, remedial law and legal ethics and practical exercises.

Then I searched for his name in the database...

Congratulations to Jaybe Quiñonez...a successful 2005 bar examinee!

Hi Uncle Jaybee,

WOW, what can we say-----a new, young and humble attorney that you are!
Of course we are so proud of your success. Can we call you now Uncle Attorney rather than Uncle Jaybee?

Come to Aust so you can give us tips on....... you know........ ggggirrrlllssss????? Don't know if Mum would be happy with this.

Currently Dad is in Manila so we are sure he would be in touched with you to share and celebrate this happy event.

Okay see you later if not soon.

Congratulations Atty. JB Quinonez for
passing the Bar Exam!!!

JB obtained his prelaw at the University of Sto. Tomas where he graduated his AB Economics. He worked in BPI-Head Office as a bank officer assigned in the Foreign Currency Division and simultaneously took up his law proper at the Ateneo De Manila Law School - prominently known as the no.1 law school in the country today. I remember the time when JB & I used to be lunchmates at the BPI Canteen. That time I was working in SGV assigned in the merger of BPI & FarEastBank. He inspired me to take up law which I did only in one semester because I failed to persevere. But with JB, He continued to conquer & sustain the passion. I salute you JB!!! You're the best!!! Just keep the fire burning...........

Looking at the honors that Tagon-ons reaped, who will dare dispute me if I say, TAGON-ONS ARE THE BEST?

Salamater sa iyo tanan mga Tagon-on

I just returned here in manila from an almost month-long sabbatical cum kaon-inom-libod marathon in Tago. I made it a point not to surf the net, not even open my mails, when I was in Tago, and resisted the urge when I heard about the enthusiastic comments and salutations in our very own tagosds.org. What can I say---I am so humbled by the sincere words and the heartfelt gesture that I can only expect from our fellow Tagon-ons. I should have posted my gratitude in the site but since I am not a member yet (shame on me) and I understand the base is still under repair, please extend the same in my behalf. Salamater sa tanan Tagon-on kay ako gayud yaexperience first-hand an ila pagkaproud sa ako especially sa welcome na ila in bana sa ako nan didto ako. Waray makapantay sa ako kalipay na tanan, close man nako o d kadayaw, min reach out sa ako para i congratulate ako in some way or another. I know that I have taken the first step pa lang but I have done so with the heart and soul of Tago, and I will gladly take the next with Tago still embedded deep in my heart. Bonsal, salamater sa details and for spearheading the tribute...Congrats sab sa iyo ni Grace...salatamer....

JB QUIÑONEZ
