Wow . . . Thank you so much. It’s so good to see "my dear old friends" again. An tamasak oo mga gagmay nasa agaw. Tell me how did you manage to get the very shy uson to come out for a photo op? Yag isan an ako kamingaw. Your reminiscences really educed more. I spent Saturday afternoon in the attic hunting for my old box that contained a lot of nothing but for me worth everything. Mga handumanan gikan sa ato. Kon baga mga paala-ala. I had forgotten about the box, of what’s inside it, but thanks to you, I recalled rewriting the oracion in pieces of paper when I was in Cebu lest I forget. I kept it hidden in a heno de pravia box. (remember the heno de pravia na habon? - if you buy three it comes in a sturdy smelling good box?).

It was cold up there in the attic. I had my robe on pero paga huwasan akon binoka-gay nan mga plastic storage bins. Kay ga korentekorente nasa. I ended up rereading old letters and stuff. Also, when both my kids were born, I asked Lu to buy one each of the different kinds of newspapers tabloids included issued that day so one day, when the kids are grown they can read all the things that happened the day they were born. Sus ya yellow nasan mga newspapers so I decided to repack them with acid free paper that I always kept in the house para ma preserve till time to hand them out to them.

Ops. . . back to my heno de pravia box…I cry me a river when I finally found it. When I saw the things that I had packed in the little box. May top alikawong nan ani-it dated 5/16/68. The first one I ever caught. There were pcs shells nan tagitis, bokgay, poem written by Eleonor Ordonia nan didto ako sa La Paz, that I folded origami way like baruto kay mag sakay sa kitan pumpboat kon mokadto sa La Paz. (I’m sure everyone knows how to make or fold boat or airplane or fighter jet out of plain bond paper) Also in there is my first rosary beads, my first miraculous medal, small Christmas card from Wincie Pareja that I kept because I like the picture, fragile dry book pressed rose petals with dates etc. etc. etc. and the 2 oracion in Latin that Lolo had taught me. I wrote them on a pink sanrio aka hello kitty stationery that I bought from Gaisano bookstore in Colon St. Allow me to share the oracion with you:

The first one:

When I was done and when I told Lu what I did up there… he tease me no end. To shut him up… I told him to leave me alone because I’m suffering from severe mid life crises hahahaha
