May God help them to keep faith in the face of their disaster.
May God comfort those who have lost family members, and welcome the souls of the dead.
I ask You Lord to ensure that the rescue and provision of food, clothing and shelter will be better managed in this disaster. Please grant the prayers of Your distressed people.

OUR FATHER, Who art in Heaven,
hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom
come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in
Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive
those who trespass against us. And lead us
not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
